Hi friends,
I hope you’re all doing well! Happy Spring! How are you welcoming the new season? For me, it’s the small things like cleaning, rearranging the workspace, adding a fresh coat of paint on old objects, and even getting a haircut (I cut 7 inches off and have no regrets).
The trees outside are slowly blooming but with the cold weather, it doesn’t feel like Spring quite yet in New York. It feels like Autumn most days which partly inspired me to pick up some witchy books from the library. It reminded me of a silly memory I had from middle school – I asked the school librarian if they had any spellbooks. She laughed and said the question made her day. Unfortunately I left the library without any spells, haha. I thought I would draw it for this month’s single panel comic…
I have only one small shop update which is this new sticker sheet:
I first drew these blackbird gardeners for my Patreon Spring bookmark. The bookmark is included in this month’s snail mail along with a rooftop postcard (featuring a patron’s pet) and flower bouquet frog sticker.
