Happy New Year, friends! I hope that your 2023 is filled with warm beverages and delicious treats!

My end to the year was actually rather exciting (and stressful haha)! Early last month, on National Brownie Day, I turned one year older… And by the end of the month, I signed a lease to a new apartment. It’s a cozy little studio in Queens with a few wonderful quirks :) Once I finally get things moved over and unpacked, I’ll take a few photos to share in next month’s newsletter.

Alsoooooo, to celebrate the move, I want to offer a Moving Sale this month in my shop! Please use the code “MOVING25” at checkout to get 25% off your order (discount ends Jan 31st).

JANUARY COMIC:

I will admit, that preparing for the move, as well as all of the busyness during the holiday season, December was a tough month to find a lot of time to draw. I’m hoping that once things are settled down, I’ll finally find a minute or two to work on some new designs or prints… though, at the same time, my New Year’s resolution is to not add too much extra stress and to focus on the goals that I already have in front of me. Needless to say, we will not rush into anything :)

I was, however, able to squeeze in a bit of time to work on the monthly mini comic for this newsletter! It’s a continuation of the illustrations for my Vermont zine and a sweet little moment that happened. I hope you like it!

Aside from that, here’s a look at a few of the other illustrations that I was able to get in. For my Patreon Cafe Nook Club and December snail mail, I had drawn a knitting postcard and sandpiper sticker. I also included my new thank you card in the snail mail :)

I think that’s going to wrap it up for this newsletter! Thank you so much for taking the time to read this far :) December tends to be the time where I’m unable to make new things for the shop, so I apologize that there wasn’t quite as much to share this month! But, I’m hoping that we’ll get into a groove soon and that there will be a few new things to show! For now, here are some items/work to look forward to:

  • Restocking Pins: Croissant, Baguette, Sourdough, Girl and Croissant, Sewing Machine, Fabric Scissors, and Tomato Pin Cushion

  • January Patreon Snail Mail: Winter Tree House Postcard Drawing, Not sure what the sticker drawing will be but I’ll be doing a Sticker Poll on Patreon soon :)
