Happy February, Friends!
Winter is ending in a little over a month (right? haha…) and I’m so excited for Spring! I felt it even more when I was drawing this month’s mini comic of some vine covered buildings that I had seen in Vermont last year. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve been enjoying every bit of Winter but I’m curious to see how the trees will bloom in my new neighborhood. Lately, my favorite place to sketch is by the window near some of my plants and Peach.
My workspace is still a work-in-progress and even though I’m surrounded by the same old objects in my last apartment, it still doesn’t feel quite lived-in yet. Though, I do love having my sewing machine and paper cutter available now. I was able to tuck them away in a closet across from my desk, like a secret, cozy, little hidden room.
I was even able to find some time to sew a few pillows! And the goal (which has been a forever goal) is to learn how to sew my own clothes. Add that to some of the other projects that I want to get done, haha. The space has also motivated me to make journals again this year which I’m so excited about!
There will also be other things to look forward to in a few weeks and I’ve already restocked a few pins in the shop…
For my Patreon Cafe Nook Club and January snail mail, I had drawn a winter treehouse postcard and hummingbird sticker.
