Hi friends!
Even though it’s near the end of January, I hope your new year has been off to a good start and you’ve been able to rest and take things slowly. It has been very cold around here the last few weeks, but the snow finally stuck around which was a nice change of pace, and a little treat to see from inside.
I’ve been spending the last few days with blue-stained fingertips from stamping my clementine coffee illustration on cotton papers and journal covers. The hand-stitched passport size journals include some of my favorite delicate papers like linen, rainbow confetti, and mango leaf.
These journals took a lot longer than I had planned but I’m so happy that I finally had the time to make them. If you’re interested, I made a small batch of both the prints and journals and they’re now available in the shop here.
I’ve also restocked a few pins and added a new jammed with wonder variant… strawberry.
This month’s comic is based on a moment the day after Christmas where I saw a flock of blackbirds outside of my window… like 200 of them! It was wild because this never happens and it was kind of creepy and beautiful.

Some of the blackbirds also showed up on this month’s postcard drawing. The sticker is an appreciation of coffee and breakfast bagels. :)
